The wheels have a built in power generator and work when the wheel starts to turn, so no batteries are needed and when the sun goes down the brilliant multi-coloured lights stand out and can't be missed by anyone! For 'smart' parents, the best part is you can adjust Rollies to fit almost any size sports shoe or trainers, so they will last as long as required (unlike trainers with built in wheels which children tend to grow out of in no time!) To skate simply lift the soles of your feet; to stop, just put your feet down!
